Questions we get a lot
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API to start?
No. We can begin with approved providers that send on your behalf while we prepare your Business API application if needed. The API is best for automation, higher throughput, templates, and verified branding.
How do you handle POPIA/WASPA compliance?
We implement explicit opt-in (forms, checkout, QR), store consent timestamps, add clear opt-out links/keywords, and enforce quiet hours. We also maintain a suppression list and honour “STOP” automatically.
Can I run both WhatsApp and SMS together?
Yes. We often use WhatsApp for rich, interactive messages and SMS for critical alerts or fallback when WhatsApp is unavailable. Both channels share segmentation and reporting.
How do you track revenue from messages?
Every campaign uses UTM tags and unique discount codes/links. We attribute orders back to sends in Shopify reports and provide a monthly “messages → clicks → orders → revenue” summary.
What approval do message templates need?
WhatsApp promotional templates require provider approval (usually within hours). We preload reusable templates (promo, birthday, win-back, VIP). SMS needs no template approval, but must meet WASPA content rules.
What about deliverability and throttling?
We schedule by best send windows, throttle large lists to avoid carrier filtering, and use pre-warmed numbers/senders. We monitor failed sends and automatically retry where supported.
Who owns my contacts and data?
You do. We give you full admin access and export capability at any time. If you cancel, your segments and data remain yours.
How long is setup?
Typically 1–3 business days after intake. If you want Business API verification and Green Tick, allow additional time for Meta/provider review; we guide and manage that process.
